i'm sorry but i don't understand, where are you expecting to see payment_status:paid?
I want to be sure that the customer will pay if the customer makes a purchase on PaymentLink and succeeds, but I don't have to implement a webhook to get the "payment_status" and confirm it? Sorry for the confusing question I asked
Sorry but I'm not sure I understand what you want to achieve exactly ?
If a customer opens a Payment Link and has paid successfully, that means they purchased an item
You want to track payments ?
Thank you for your prompt reply. Once the success is confirmed by "paymentlink", there is no problem on the "stirpe" system, as long as there is no payment delay or cancellation to us!
Nope. I invite you to do some tests about this.
is that so. It seems better to be careful.
For example, if a customer can purchase a product through "paymentlink", 1. the payment must not be rejected by the system. 2. Or is the payment guaranteed even if it is not approved? 3. Shouldn't it be so in the first place?
thank you.
ps, Due to the nature of the product, operating time = cost. Lost is dangerous! 🤑
I'm not sure that I understand correctly this part and what are the constraint here:
For example, if a customer can purchase a product through "paymentlink", 1. the payment must not be rejected by the system. 2. Or is the payment guaranteed even if it is not approved? 3. Shouldn't it be so in the first place?
Are you facing a particular issue? do you have a sample/example of a failure attempt ?
I'm new to Stripe, so I'm gathering information.
Simple as possible is best.
I'm afraid I'll overdo it and end up with a mechanical (API) onion! 😅
You should start doing some test with PaymentLinks:
https://stripe.com/docs/payment-links
you can track payments and handle fulfillment...
https://stripe.com/docs/payment-links/post-payment#automatically-handle-fulfillment
I think the next step is to do several tests and try to challenge the product.
👋 taking over for my colleague. Let me know if there's any follow-up Qs I can answer!
I see! It looks like I just need to determine if the billing type for the service falls under the "FULFILLMENT" section.
Thanks to you, I now have a direction.🌅
let me know if you need any more help
Yes, I will come back if I have any questions!
Thanks for your great support.Best Regards,.👍
