For ACH Debit, usually the customer has to log into their bank account to prove their own the account so there's that check (or they do micro-deposits)

Had one more question - for us_bank_account using microdeposit verification, how do you tell if the payment method has been verified?

When I retrieve the payment method object, there doesn't seem to be a field that indicates the verification status

But the dashboard shows verified / unverified
