Not sure what they mean by changing the account ID really. Is there more context to what they're asking about?

hey!
he setup stripe account through our platform. then he reached out saying he wants to change the account he wants to use with our platform.
i explained our integration creates an account to be used with us exclusively. he said he cant access his dashboard of the account he created with us. i suggested to talk to stripe support.
finally he came back sharing an account id with me saying stripe said we can change his account that is linked to out platform
i realize a weird case. that's why i wanted to check

account IDs are not something that the platform can just update.
You can as a platform create a new account and re-onboard them.
