Okay? But how come it works for one and not for the other
let me dive a bit deeper into this
I also have one here where it works the opposite way around.. DKK to EUR req_C42ZZ0MI3Uc9rU
.. And I'm pretty sure we do destination charges ๐ โ where is it that you can tell that those are not destination charges?
I'm terribly sorry, you're right, these are destination charges
I asked a colleague to step up and investigate this since discord is really busy at the moment, and this needs more in-depth investigation
All right โ will you get back to me here or ?
The critical difference is that the Express account has both a DKK and EUR balance/bank account.
We will always settle transfers without FX/conversion where possible.
Is that something that happens automatically when creating an Express account, as I do not recall having set up any EUR bank account explicitly
Most of our users are Custom accounts, but some of the early users are Express accounts
Shouldn't be no. Was likely provided either during onboarding of the account, or on the Express Dashboard.
The EUR account was created in 2021, FWIW.
how can I tell if an express account has both DKK and EUR balance/bank account ?
As the platform? Via the Dashboard, example: https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/connect/accounts/acct_1JkuwoRCSmZw06Gq/activity
Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard to manage business payments and operations in your account. Manage payments and refunds, respond to disputes and more.
That's the Express account you shared.
All right.. Anyways, thanks for clarifying this. Makes sense that if you've attached a bank account with the same currency that you by default will try to settle transfers without conversion
tried with another older account (also Express) which only has a danish bank account, and that works as intended
