๐ happy to help
Oh, welcome back @lavish belfry ๐
yes you can cancel the PI, but that doesn't mean that the customer wouldn't be able to go and do the transfer themselves
Sure, he can transfer but it is important to me that the payment is not allocated and we can then refund him as usual (in case of overpayment)?
Or not that either?
I'm not sure what happens if the PI was cancelled
I'm going to double check for you
What do you mean by 'not allocated'? Doesn't appear to be associated to a Stripe invoice
We are not working with stripe billing on the project.
If I send a Cancel on the Payment Intent, the claim is no longer valid. Or?
So that's what I want. Say: The customer transfers anyway and there is no matching payment intent that is still active, it will be seen as overpaid credit and can be refunded.
Hmm, I'm not sure how that works once you cancel the PI if the customer still makes the transfer. My assumption is it would be unrconciled: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/customer-balance/reconciliation#cash-unreconciled-funds
