Swipe only cards currently you can only tap and insert.

#

Legacy cards cannot be used online so we cannot enter the numbers manually into the terminal they must be swiped.

I'm not sure about our roadmap for this. I'd recommend reporting your interest to our Support team via https://support.stripe.com/contact/login and they can let you know if it is already on the roadmap or pass on your interest to our Eng teams.
