Right, I set the 1687380005 to be about an hour from now

So the invoice hasn't closed yet. But I did expect the start date of the invoice to be backdate_start_date=1684701605

You want that Invoice to indicate the period from May 21 - Jun 21.

Hmm this might have to do with using a metered Price.

Okay @sharp wadi so it does seem like this is due to the metered Price.

This jsut isn't a combo we support well yet for backdating + future billing cycle anchor.

I'm going to file internally to get this improved, but for now the date won't be accurate for that initial Invoice when using a metered Price here.

I just actually received the invoice PDF right now in my email for a test subscription I set up to go to my email, so I think it is actually doing the right thing - just that the backdating doesn't seem to properly work for this case. I think we can live with that right now.
