That's a quite long thread, can you share a quick summary?

basically building a stripe app that listens to webhooks on peoples stripe accounts who are installing my app

#

these webhooks hit my python server where I have buisness logic to do what I need

#

Having trouble getting the flow reproduce locally

When I run it on my own account I get webhooks hitting my server locally

#

but when I try using the connect flow (which is what I need it looks like)

nothing's hitting

#

I now made a second merchant account and need to install my test app on it

I think you'd need to setup an external test for that

what's the other option there? Instead of making it public to all Stripe users?

Additionally, seems like there's also a way for you to skip the marketplace altogether

Other option is private to XYZ (my merchant account)
Available to users on this account only.

Btw for this I think I still need to have this app "public"
