I don't think there's a way for them to perform a top up OR anything.

An alternative could be that, they could send funds to the platform and then the platform can add to their balance and transfer to the connected account.

I think so (it is mostly targeted towards Standard accounts/platforms)

Express and Custom accounts don't get access to typical Stripe dashboard. So there's no way for them to be able to add to their balance.

got it. kind of a bummer, but maybe an incentive for them to not pay out frequently
