You should be able to do it with billing_cycle_anchor

I've set the billing_cycle_anchor to phase_start. And my first phase ends on Sat Jul 01 2023 00:00:00

But it still creates a full invoice for the subscription on June 26th. I just want an invoice that is prorated for the period June 26th to July 1st, and then on it should bill the full amount on the 1st every month

yes since the initial_billing_cycle_anchor is a new feature only available on the Dashboard
