How do you create the charge in the first place for the application fee? Is it a Direct Charges, Destination Charges or Separate Charges and Transfers?

Hi River, we are using Connected Accout Type: Standard and processing with Direct Charges.

Thanks for sharing. In this case, you may include Stripe-Account header as connected ID in the request to access the application fees created on the connected account: https://stripe.com/docs/api/connected_accounts
