Hi there! Can you share more details? The error above basically means that the customer's bank asked the customer to complete some additional authentication steps but that the customer failed those authentication steps
As a general next step, you should prompt the customer to share new payment details and try to confirm the PaymentIntent again
This client is my best client.
And we are constantly shopping. and pays with his usual card. And the card is 2D, not 3D. But today we ran into a problem.
Tried with a few different cards and still didn't work.
Did each card fail due to 3DS?
Got it. Taking a step back, is your application able to handle 3DS? In other words, are other customers able to complete 3DS if their banks require it?
There is no 3DS in these cards, they load the money, shop and then there is no money left inside.
is there a setting defined for this 3ds?
Sorry, I'm not following.
well, normally when paying with a 2ds card, doesn't it need to be withdrawn?
It's up to the card issuers to determine whether a payment with a given card requires additional authentication. Unless you've configured special rules with Stripe Radar, prompting for additional authentication is something that's enforced by the banks: https://stripe.com/docs/payments/3d-secure
so until now we were getting paid but now we can't
and as far as you're aware, your team didn't make any changes to your Stripe integration?
no nothing happened all of a sudden it happened like this
Got it. In that case, I recommend discussing these failed payments with our support team. You can contact them at: https://support.stripe.com/contact/
thanks for support ♥
