hi! it depends, if the Invoice is already finalized, then no, it can't be changed.

the invoice status is "open" and im assuming that means it is finalised

is there anyway what so ever to add a credit to an invoice?

I don't think so, after it's finalized it's immutable as that's required by invoicing regulations in many places. Credit Notes might be an option : https://stripe.com/docs/invoicing/dashboard/credit-notes
