I would like to link each line item to a separate connected account.

When you say pay out, is this an operation being done by you the platofrm account?

Or are these customer payments you're trying to split accross multiple connect accounts?

The customer selects multiple items to purchase, each from a different vendor (connected account). They checkout on my platform, and I return a payment link. Once paid, the amounts are paid out to the vendor.

My assumption is that I just use a transfergroup and payout the correct amount to a different vendor. How does this appear in their dashboard?

Or do connected account dashboards only ever show the amounts and not the items of an order?

To achieve what you are looking for you woudl want to use Separate Charges & Transfers: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/separate-charges-and-transfers

This would allow you to split the funds from a single payment among multiple Connected Accounts.
