Yeah normally it's not exposed on frontend. That's actually the good thing since card tester (fraud) often has frontend and we want to only shows them a generic message

hmm true, though in our case we have a zip code/postal code check for a specific country only.
If we used the build in postal code rule we would get postal error code.

So in case the postal code is checked in a custom radar rule the value of 'address_postal_code_check' is null and not failed.
