how did the subscription get into the state of past_due
why was it not automatically charged on the 11th
I think this is the first time that has happened
I think I have it set up that it automatically charges on the renewal date and it cancels if it fails

The collection method on that subscription is send_invoice
So the user just didn't pay in time
but how is that one different from all the rest of my subscriptions
they are all created the same way
i think in the months prior that same subscription charged automatically
if you update a payment method for a subscription does that change anything?

Not sure what exactly in the dashboard does this, if you want more info on that I would suggest talking to our support team. Sever is too busy for me to properly figure out what the dashboard is doing there but I don't think it typically changes the collection method
