I'm trying to put a Wordpress site online, this being done locally, but after transferring the files to the server and adding the database, when I access the domain name, I still get a white screen with the message "This page doesn't work"

That doesn't sound like an issue with Stripe. So unfortunately, we might not be able to help with this.
Have you tried looking into your server logs and see what's exactly going on?

I'd recommend looking for tutorials on Google/Youtube
That'd allow you to dig deeper into the issue!
