Hi 👋 yes, I believe that is currently a limitation of our billing portal, I'll file feedback that you'd like to be able to allow quantity increases without also allowing decreases.

@vivid pelican would it be possible to do this with a checkout session? Or does that not support updating quantity of an existing subscription

Checkout Sessions do not allow for updating of existing Subscriptions, you will need to build a custom flow to offer the behavior you're describing.
