at each billing date, the Subscription will generate an Invoice that charges for both the next month upfront on the flat-rate product, and for any usage for the last month on the usage-based product, that just happens out of the box.

Sorry just to clarify. We'd like to keep the curernt billing cycle's flat-rate and usage based rate charged all at the end of the cycle. Instead of upfront pay for the flatrate part.

So the invoice stick with previous months flat rate + usage. Instead of pervious usage + next month flat rate

that's not really possible

our usage based pricing bills in arrears and our licensed based pricing bills upfront, it's too inherently baked into the Subscription product to really be something you can change
