hey alex! glad to see you on here lol I have an active event going on. It's in Canada (i'm in the US) and so we are having issues with interac cards. We collect payment methods with stripe terminal server-side, using setup intents. I see this in the docs...

You can use SetupIntents to collect card details on Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and co-branded eftpos cards. Interac cards, single-branded eftpos cards, and mobile wallets (for example, Apple Pay or Google Pay) are not supported.

So my question is, how to be able to collect and re-use interac debit cards? Would the stripe terminal SDK (not server side) work?

we don't support collecting interac debit cards on Terminal for reuse as the docs mentioned. Unfortunately, there's no way around this

if you would like to see support for this, I'd suggest writing to https://support.stripe.com/contact/email to explain your use cases/request as that helps the product team capture demand for prioritisation

@wraith dome i'm not seeing an interac type, test card on the stripe test card table. Is there one or am i just not looking somewhere correctly
