to explain more - currently my code here does the following
- unpause (whether or not the sub is actually paused)
- create a sub schedule or update the one that exists..
- to a similar format above ^ with the two phases
i think i probably just need to end the trial w/o invoicing before all of this?
Sorry this would take time. Could you elaborate on
- Which is your current billing cycle setup
- What do you want to change to.
I would suggest writting it down concretely by timestamp in UTC, you may figure it out when you write it 🙂
all good. ive been through the ringer here trying to figure out the schedule set up but i think that actually works okay
let me reframe my question now that i think the best lead here is that those subscriptions were in trial - is there a way to end a trial without creating an invoice? best i can think to do is to
- update the subscription to turn off auto advance
- end trial
- update the subscription to turn it back on
(for background, a previous dev was using trial as a hack to move the first recurrence ahead 10 days... so our newer subscriptions often sit in "free trial" till recurrenceLength - '10 days')
Uhmm that actually make sense yes, turning off then end trial and turning on. You can test it on test mode though
