Today the Subscription's metadata is available on an Invoice's line item so you can likely refer to this

the main "problem" is that it's not a "snapshot" so if you have Invoice A today and then update the Subscription's metadata, it will then mirror the newer ones

we're looking into potential improvements, and the idea would be to snapshot the Subscription's current metadata at the time of Invoice creation in a future subscription_details hash. But no timeline on such a feature
