@worthy bear Sorry to hear about the trouble on your cron job, definitely painful. For future cron jobs I'd recommend looking into using our Idempotent Requests feature to prevent that bug: https://stripe.com/docs/api/idempotent_requests

As for the Transfers and Payouts, those are 2 completely separate operations of moving money around in Stripe. They are not related, and reversing a Payout doesn't have any impact on the original Transfers, the same way taht reversing a Payout doesn't just refund Charges or anything like this

This information was directly linked to the payout that was reversed... I get that your data structures are convoluted, everyone's are, but this seems like a pretty normal missing sanity thing imo

Nothing is convoluted here. I'm sorry, I also get you are frustrated about the bug but there's no way we could reverse all Transfers tied to a Payout like this. It makes sense to you because that one Payout had 2 specific Transfers. This is almost never the case across accounts. Most Payouts bundle a lot of money movement at once, sometimes millions of payments and refunds and disputes a day.

What I'm getting at is I shouldn't of been able to reverse one of those two individually after the full payout containing it was also reversed.

I'm sorry but I don't follow what that could mean. The picture also just shows 2 Charges, likely on the connected account

I'd recommend you work with our support team and they can help you better understand what you see in the Dashboard and how to approach this in the future instead: https://support.stripe.com/contact
