Hello, yes copying one-by-one would definitely be the best approach for porting over those products and subscriptions. Unfortunately we don't support bulk creations or inter-account data transfers at the moment.
Not immediately thinking of any other steps. Once the subscriptions are copied over and are running on the same payment methods they should be good to continue as they were before
Hi @hidden ruin
okay, so I Will follow above approach but seriously there should be something to copy over, all products and the t active subscriptions.
apart from doing everything manually, the major problem with this for us will be that we are currently using Stripe's simplified billing dashboard to show customers their invoices, subscriptions and payment methods and with this customers will lose access to their existing invoices.
Also one more query, since we have copied our existing customers but writing code & testing for above process will take time, and we might have some new customers meanwhile, how can we copy those customers do we need to request stripe support or we can do it manually?
Yes agreed, I will put in feedback about this for you. I definitely get the value in this process being more automatic and porting more data over.
Any new customers on your old account will need to be copied over by support
So if it is feasible it may make sense to switch your code to create customers and take payments on your new account sooner. But if you can't, asking support to copy them over as well is viable
Okay, Thankyou for answers .
I will probably have to ask support to copy customer data.
