By have and does not have Connect, do you mean something displays on Dashboard?
acct_1NESJrDRWIHcDEwI is a Standard Account which is connected and controlled by acct_1EJBfkGQ7oUirEec , so it would have Connect itself
but acct_1NESJrDRWIHcDEwI has no "Connect"
actually i'm more interested in acct_1NE20WGfa1HCJBJn, as in, how do i create another TEST MODE account like it, with Connect
both were created using API

I mean you want to create a completely new Account which has Connect, right? not reusing the existing accounts
as long as it is a TEST ONLY (can never go live) + has Connect tab

I don't know how you created acct_1NESoKF702H0RHtL so can't say, but I meant if you process with this route maybe you will achieve what you want

What I know is there are basically 2 flow to create Standard Accounts:
- Using Account Link (https://stripe.com/docs/connect/standard-accounts)
- Using OAuth link , which is the steps I mentioned above
I know that those kind of account which is not controlled by the Platform comes from 2., so that's why I suggested. And account which is not controlled by the Platform would have its own Connect tab

Not if you were already authenticated in the browser. The onboarding flow will prompt you to authenticate with Stripe credentials (or create a new account if you don't have one)

from experimentation, i somehow landed on a few separate TEST ONLY accounts that have Connect

an account is an account... why do we need so many types.. well i do kind of understand the different types now.. but it's really alot for someone new to stripe to handle

i'm saying it's confusing and alot to handle, but u stand on the point that it's pretty clear from the dashboard
I said it's clear which account is active from the Dashboard, but I wasn't sure which context you were referring to
well confusing because i logged in using a@b.com, so i expect to be "A", then multiple selections are allowed, "A", "B", "C" etc i.e. multiple accounts
for a new comer, why would they even think that 1 login can lead to multiple accounts? so seeing "B", "C" is very confusing
if u could name me another hosted service that does this, perhaps i stand corrected
