Thank you for your answer. Would you suggest me to set up a "Separate charges and transfers" architecture instead ? Or to try a trick to workaround the problem ?

Even then, platform would be the one responsible for the fees. But yeah, you can control the amount you're transferring to the connected account.

Yes, that is the point, if I separate charges and transfers, the fees will be applied twice

So there is no way I can charge a user for the need of a connect account, and let him support the fees ?

The only way to do that is by using Direct charges.

#

We recommend using Direct Charges with Standard accounts

#

So if you're using express/custom accounts then you would be limited to Destination charges OR separate charges & transfers

I have a couple of already existing express connected accounts. Is it possible to change their type to "standard" once they are created ?

There's no way to change them, no. You'd need to re-onboard the accounts
