Hello 👋
Did you create a new Stripe account when you switched countries?
OR is it the same one?
Can you share the customer ID that had this issue?
No we didtn create a completely new one
I cant share it because the problem for our user is solved because we removed our customer id. The question is: If a returning customer buys something from our shop again, will they see the same problem we had?
They shouldn't
Are you able to find a request ID where you saw the API return this error?
https://support.stripe.com/questions/finding-the-id-for-an-api-request
our shop is currently in maintenance mode, so new customers or existing customers cant order now.
You should still be able to find the request in your logs where you saw the above error.
All in all, if the customer ID was correct and you indeed didn't create a new account then you shouldn't be seeing the error for no such customer.
If any of your customers run into this issue again, I'd recommend writing in to our support team via
https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true
They can help take a look at what's exactly going on there
But why did we have to delete our customer id so that we could place a new order? Logically, this is also the problem with other existing customers, isn't it?
one moment, I will check the logs
Woocommerce is a third-party integration. We have no insights into how they utilize our APIs. It is possible that something was misconfigured somewhere.
