I'm still a little confused. My Invoices are set to charge automatically but i need to send a receipt of this invoice to the customer too.

If you're trying to send automatic emails to your customer after a charge succeeded, you can set this up on your Dashboard: https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/emails
