just installed CLI, apps plugin, generated the app and ran it

clicked enter (to open dashbard)

not sure if I missed something vital

but im guessing that getting the CORS error on the .build/ext.js file seems bad

Those do sound like the right steps, unfortunately the local app functionality can be touchy with environmental stuff sometimes. Can you try running stripe apps start --log-level debug and see if it prings out anything helpful?

My colleagues and I are also seeing this error when trying to test locally ourselves. I am reaching out to my colleagues that work on this functionality to help look in to this. Will get back to you with what we can find.

We're still looking in to this. This looks to be an issue with the most recent version of the apps plugin and we are working to address it

@manic roost We have released a fix for this issue in the latest version of the Stripe Apps plugin (1.5.8). You can run stripe plugin upgrade apps to upgrade to it
