Yeah, I'd suggest not relying too heavily on that extension, I don't think it gets much attention these days. No, I don't think customers can change their selected plan on the Checkout Page. Is this for Customers who don't currently have a Subscription, or are you working with Customers who already have Subscriptions and are trying to make changes to those Subscriptions?

This extension is new and it's not very relying ? It's for customers who don't already have subscription and want to make a subscription for exmple he could choose annual or monthly payment or an other product directly on the checkout page.

I don't think it's new, my understanding is it has been around for years, and based on the github repo it looks like the last modification was a couple months ago:
