I get it, but I am trying to make the checkout as fast as possible and I require email address and phone number at checkout. I'd rather get it from ApplePay or GooglePay when I can and save a user input

I think the payment element should offer similar API functionality as Payment Request

It's all about reducing user input and making checkout as frictionless as possible

I can share that feedback, but it's not currently supported the same way
