I thought it did but don't know off the top of my head. Do you have a way you can create a portal session for yourself in test mode quickly? The UI there will be the same as live mode
I don't have it set up on production. I don't have apple pay verified on our test dashboard yet. I was just wondering if you knew for certain
maybe they show once the wallet is verified?
another question for you though
I'm trying to implement PayPal in checkout, but I'm getting this error. However, when I go to the provided page, I dont' see PayPal listed
this page says to add paypal on the dashboard https://stripe.com/docs/payments/paypal#get-started but when I go to the suggested link https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/payment_methods paypal is also not listed there
yeah, everything is saying I need to enable it on the settings/payment_methods page but it doesn't exist on the dashboard for me
For the PayPal thing, please reach out to our support team, they may have to set your account up for it https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true

gotcha thanks
To be clear, the Customer Portal is a Stripe hosted page, so you won't need to register your site with Apple Pay for a button to show if that page would show it.
And it should work in test mode if you can try this there
I am still a bit too busy to test but can try in a bit if you still have not been able to
oh okay. yeah I don't see apple pay at all in the checkout, but I see in the dashboard it is "on"
Do you see Apple Pay on this page? https://stripe.com/docs/stripe-js/elements/payment-request-button
As its own separate button at the top? (The three buttons in the first section are just part of an image)
nope I just see link
I'm guessing there is some set up in the dashboard I need to do
Yes, if you aren't seeing Apple Pay there, it sounds like your wallet may not be properly configured on that device.
Can you see Apple Pay on other sites on that same device?
lol oh I see
I don't have Apple Pay set up on this device
which makes sense
and you're like "this person is dumb" lolol
Not at all, Apple Pay is super opaque! Very easy to miss it not being set up or misconfigured
