im confused at this point - there isnt anything coming up for my website domain other than squarespace

The DNS records are still pointing to whatever Squarespace set (assuming the domain is managed by squarespace)
I'd recommend talking to them about this. They might have better tools to understand what's going on here.

The CNAME record is still only pointing to squarespace though
If you've updated the CNAME and TXT records on godaddy to values Stripe provided while adding the domain then it should show up in the Look up tool
So yeah I don't think the changes have propagated yet
