Unfortunately a subscription cannot be brought back from a cancelled state, you would need to create a new subscription at that point

And correct, unpaid subscriptions will continue to create invoices but will not attempt to charge for them while the subscription is still in that state

And to be clear, if the subscription goes back to active, those invoices will still not be attempted but you can go back and manually try to charge for them if need be

Not all of them, the subscription status only depends on the last invoice that was created

So you could charge for that invoice or mark it as paid
