What Account type are you creating ?

Does that country available in these list for example for Express Accounts:
https://stripe.com/docs/connect/accounts#express-account-availability

Some countries are available only when using cross-border payouts.

But not for payments

I think you should reach out to Stripe Support first, and check the account availability first. Describe your use case:

I have a platform Account based in US and I want to accept payments from XX (Country in Affrica) using Custom account, is this possible?
