no, I am able to create the portal using a portal config, but it is devoid of a the subscriptions I'm adding to choose from as well as the ability to cancel subscription

I can see update enabled, I can see cancel enabled-so its going through, but payment method, billing info, and invoices are the only items in portal

I would imagine they're not showing because that Customer has no active subscriptions. The Billing Portal won't show any subscription-related modals when the customer has no subscription to update.

Two-shoes, you rock-damn i could not find anywhere in the documentation but that makes sense calling update versus allowing creation.
