Good question, checking in to this and will get back to you
Also, just finished a call with apple support dev and they affirm that all purchases made after download inside the app is considered as a in-app purchase
So what's the purpose of the react native sdk ?
My understanding is that physical goods and services that your company provides can use the Stripe SDK https://stripe.com/docs/apple-pay?platform=react-native#using-stripe-and-apple-pay-versus-in-app-purchases
If you were talking to that dev about digital products that may be why they had that blanket answer.
If you think your product falls under physical goods or non-digital services then it may be useful to talk to apple support again and ask about that specific aspect of their policy
I am not seeing it documented that Google has a similar policy, so they may be more permissive with using our SDK for in app purchases, but I would recommend reaching out to Google Play's support to confirm that our SDK can be used for the products that you are selling
Oh ok that make sense
so digital service
is a in-app purchase
right ?
we're a SaaS
Definitely yes for Apple (especially if they told you so), I am less sure on Google's policy but they will know for sure
