there was an unsuccessful automatic retry attempt after the successful one, that was not expected.

Asked a colleague to take a look too. As per their understanding, this is expected behaivour.
We had called this out in our docs somewhere as well. Not able to find the doc at the moment but we're looking. We will share it here once we find it

It seems like we don't have a doc referencing this behaviour publicly unfortunately. We've flagged this internally to see if we can get it surfaced in our public docs.
To summarize, the manual attempt succeeding doesn't prevent automatic retries at the moment.
You'll still see a retry occur on failed events
