your customer doesn't have an address - Stripe Tax which you're using, needs the customer address to calculate tax

So does that mean if the address is based in US, but the request is from AU, the tax is going to be based on the address?

There is a billing country but no specific address. How much info does stripe need to be able to get the tax rate?
