Sounds like you are having an issue with webhook signature verification

Do you have an example Event ID that you can provide that you are testing with?

And do you see any error in your server logs?

might avoid this whole convo with a quick question - is the "signing secret" on my webhook what the "constructEvent" needs to verify the signature?

i think i may have accidentally been using the secret from the local listener in the cli instead of the one registered for my webhook..

Once you are testing your own endpoint and not listening via the CLI then you use the webhook secret from your Dashboard
