hi i am having challenge with my integration and i dont know what the problem is or how to figure it out

Customer should use different card/payment method instead since he/she can't authenticate the card payment from issuing bank

The gift card issuer requires authentication. If customer can't complete 3DS authentication, payment can't go through

Regardless who issue the card, as long as the card issuer (bank or who gives the card) requires authentication for a payment, customer should complete the authentication
Stripe has no control over it
It's a different gift card number. It might be that the card issuer (be it bank or who gives the card) requires 3DS authentication this time round
i directed customers to call the card company and they confirm that there is 3ds authentication on the card
i bought the gift card for myself also and its still not charging
that was why i was sure it wasnt the card that was the problem

not bank cards

I see! In this case, you can configure 3DS rules with Radar: https://stripe.com/docs/radar/rules#request-3d-secure
