Hello! Are you currently trying this out in test mode?
I saw the note about how it does not send in test mode. Unfortunately, I have a instances in live mode where it isn't working.
Can you share an example checkout session ID so I can take a look?

Okay so a couple of things - is post-payment invoice creation something you enabled recently?
The reason you're not getting these emails is because that connected account hasn't enabled the right setting (which we call out here https://stripe.com/docs/payments/checkout/post-payment-invoices#after-session)
Specifically, the "Email customers about successful payments Dashboard setting" (https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/emails)
Separately, I'd recommend writing into support (https://support.stripe.com/contact) and asking why setting payment_intent_data.receipt_email isn't triggering the emails (we're not sure if this is a bug yet, but I'm going to flag it to some folks internally to see if they can look into it further)
