So if you're using automatic tax, then there's no need to create tax rates. Instead, this is the flow you'll need: https://stripe.com/docs/tax/set-up
But it seems that even though we had Stripe Tax enabled, Stripe was using the Tax rates we created, is-it normal behavior ?
Not unless you attempted to pass the tax rates in the request
Can you share a request ID where you saw this happen?

Yep, I can see now
You can continue to use tax rates if you want instead of automatic tax though
That's entirely up to you
And what works better in your integration
We're moving to a Stripe Checkout integration which should simplify that right ?
No, we want to make it the most automatic as possible
Yep then automatic would be the way to go
Would make it much simpler if using checkout
Same we are planning to target multiple countries, and have prepared new products, with new prices.
Where is the price/country detection made ? on our side, or yours ?
Recommend reading the docs first
as prices will vary from one country to another
Take a look at the guide I sent you
Stripe tax doesn't change prices
It just adjusts tax rate
we will not any other registration that the one in France.
How does it infer with the Price / VAT combo ?
What do you mean?
It's based on customer location and your tax registrations

can you confirm that product currency selection is up to us?
