Sorry that took a while - just want to clarify something

Does your flow generally work by creating a PaymentMethod client side and then creating + confirming a PaymentIntent server-side? Do you not have any additional logic in your integration to handle additional actions (like 3ds)?

We have handling for 3D Secure, we can take payments in general

we have alos tested flows with Stripe test cards triggering 3d Secure

#

all works as expected

#

when is goes wrong, is shows the iframe for 3D secure, but then immediately shows payment failed rather than showing interface to enter additional validation details

#

normally there would be a sent of inputs to enter a code

#

common theme seems to be Barclaycard

#

but because if provides no helpful error meesage

#

we can;t diagnose any further

I was hoping Stripe can see more from their end

As far as I can see with the example transaction you gave it was rejected by the issuer - which isn't that unexpected by itself, but if you're seeing an overall trend of this happening commonly with Barclaycard I'd recommend talking to support (https://support.stripe.com/contact) to take a look at these declines and see if there's a larger trend here (not just with your account)
