Last week it was working as expected then it started doing this a day or two ago

5th was when it started misbehaving

gotcha - and are you seeing and weird things in the logs at all?

No in the logs, I start the app. Then in initialises then immediately the card reader resets

So can’t even get to the proper app because the pairing code is wrong after that
