Yeah we have seen that. But is there any option to say the user pay one and get e.g. 120 days instead of 30 days and the next payment is after the 120 days?

What you can do is a trial period with an extra line item for the one-time upfront payment

This is what we do at the moment. But then we have a text on checkout UI which says 120days for free

that wouldn't help the UI be less confusing overall though so I don't see how that would help. I'd recommend not doing that

One day maybe but not in the near future unfortunately. I'd recommend flagging your appetite for this to our support team https://support.stripe.com/contact so that they can track this as a feature request
