My understanding is that the SDKs use system settings for the language locale and translate the error accordingly

Have you tried changing the language on your test device already?

Does the error object have localizedMessage prameter?
Is that what you're currently using?

Because as I mentioned earlier and this github issue confirms it too that the native libraries are translating the strings directly based on the device locale
