Basically card charges are the ones that start with ch_ and the rest should start with py_ . No functionality difference as far as I am aware, you can use either of those IDs anywhere that is expecting a charge.
sure, they are functioning normally, i was just wondering the meaning, i guess it's just an abbreviated "payment" or something like that

If cards were added as a payment method today I think they would also use the py_ prefix. I think that the ch_ prefix now is more for backwards compatibility as that had already been the prefix for a while before py_ became a thing.
