It's a fairly common setup to have the readers on the LAN and the POS devices on WiFi (or vice versa). The main thing is that they're on the same local network and can directly access each other over that local network.

A lot of WiFi routers have an option to isolate WiFi clients from the rest of the network, which is the most common issue in cases like this. Do you have an option to disable that?

this might be beyond your scope at Stripe, but would anyone on your team be able to help me figure this out in our Meraki dashboard?

I'm not familiar with Meraki, and I don't think anyone else here is either, but let me see what I can find.
