Hi again
The threads are closed after a period of inactivity
We can chat further here
hi thank you sorry i got pulled into a meeting
No worries
so we use the same single stripe account but it's just used in 2 different ways
Ah I see
Okay then you want to set at the payment-level
What integration are you using?
we use it for Vetstoria and for Hills 2 Home
Sorry I mean what Stripe payments integration. Are you using Stripe Checkout? Elements?
If you have an example PaymentIntent you could share with me then I could also take a look
oh uhmmm i have no idea lol i'm at the corporate level we use it at like 100 of our sites
Ah then you are going to want to talk to your dev team about this
As this is going to take an update to your integration to set the Statement Descriptor as you desire
I have a dev team!?
i don't think I have a corporate account, we have individual logins for each of them
lol I assumed you have a dev team when you say "corporate level"
But otherwise you are going to need to hire a developer to help you with this
ohhh lol
oh lovely lol
so how do i normally change the statemtn descriptor
is it the dynamix suffix?
Well you can change it for all payments on your account via your settings at https://dashboard.stripe.com/settings/public
But yeah, if you are going to change on a per-payment basis then you can set a dynamic statement descriptor
But that requires the API
ahhhh ok. api into however they're processing it or?
Yeah more or less. You pass the desired value via the API: https://stripe.com/docs/api/payment_intents/create#create_payment_intent-statement_descriptor
